| Abstrakt: | A definition of the term "Cryptoperiod" is presented. It refers to a specific time span of the effectiveness of a cryptographic key setting. A cryptographic key utilizes an algorithm to create ciphertext from plaintext, and to enable the receiver of the encrypted text to decipher the text. Cryptoperiod is also known as key lifetime or a validity period. |
