| Abstrakt: | The article reports on the study of council house sales between August 1976 and August 1979 in Worcester, England. The aim of the study was to distinguish the characteristics of the tenants who bought and the features and distribution of the houses bought. The study showed that the majority of the sales were to couples with young children with higher than average incomes. In terms of Socio-Economic Groups, 37% heads of purchasing households were Foreman and Skilled Manual Workers and 42% were Semi-skilled or Unskilled Manual Workers. |
