The article reports on the OPTIMUM2 transportation project which is funded by the European Union. The project has been trailing mobility management measures in a number of urban areas in Europe including London in England and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It is stated that the project is intended to reduce the use of automobiles by encouraging greater use of sustainable modes of transport. |
