| Abstrakt: | Chapter 5 of the book "African Literature As Political Philosophy" is presented. It investigates a counter ideology to author Chinua Achebe's search for appropriate social reconstruction of the society in Africa. The Marxist position of author Ngugi wa Thiongo in his book "Petals" is discussed. It also presents a clarification of Marxist aesthetics and its applicability to Ngugi and his book. |
