Abstrakt:	Chapter 2 of the book "African Literature As Political Philosophy" is presented. It explores the relation between philosophy and literature and the sense in which both the terms are employed in the book. It also discuss the affinity between philosophy and literature. It studies literature as a political philosophy based on several books as examples including "The Vultures," by David Diop and "God's Bits of Wood," by Sembene Ousmane.
