Abstrakt: Chapter Two of the book "Spatial Dynamics and Female Development in Victorian Art and Novels" is presented. The author looks at the ways the spatial composition in the book "Villette," written by Victorian novelist Charlotte Bröte, develop certain aspects of the central female character of the novel. She mentions that the female character Lucy Snowe in the novel uses visual imagery and language in describing spaces, which provide a reflection of herself. She examines the plot of the story, which is told in personal narrative form.
