The article focuses on the launching of the Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE) project at the Allegany College of Maryland. The primary focus of this project is to create a learning model that promotes connections, a positive climate, and a competency-based curriculum that challenges students and teachers to take risks to promote life-long learning.
