Abstrakt:	This article discusses the works published between 1937 and 1943, under the Vichy regime, on two Provençal outfits. The role and response of the Mnatp (Musée nationale des arts et traditions populaire) is examined. The author explores the policy of museology during the time, particularly focusing on the museographical procedures that may have been impeded by local antiquarian research.
