The article explains the concept of phototherapy or low level lasers and its application in dentistry. Phototherapy is a therapeutic modality used to relieve pain, relax muscle and promote wound healing. Low Level Laser emits energy that deeply penetrates to stimulate target tissues. The clinical applications of low level laser includes surgery and infection, endodontics, restorative dentistry and facial pain relief. |
