Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the impact of new technologies on architecture. Contemporary architecture and urbanism are said to lack certain essential features and that architects have not been capable of creating environments which are as satisfying as the naturally evolved cities of the past. It also mentions the impact of technological innovation on the design vocabulary of architects. Traditionalist architects who have not developed new attitudes towards emerging forms and technologies are said to limit their work.
