BAOBABS giants of the succulent world.

Abstrakt: The article focuses on the succulent plant, baobabs from the genus Adasonia. Baobabs only grow by nature in tropical or subtropical regions. Baobab is an important component of the tradition and culture in the locations where they are found. Their fibrous bark is used for creating ropes, mats and fishing nets. Their fruits and seeds are eaten. The powdery pulp is dissolved in water for therapeutic purposes. Baobab species include Adansonia digitata, Adansonia gibbosa and Madagascar species.
