This article describes the care and attention refugees in Holland receive. The author provides several examples of refugees in the Netherlands that have been treated poorly, particularly where their mental health is concerned, to illustrate that the situation calls for change. It is noted that in general, refugees are content with their physical care, but receive inadequate psychiatric care. A procedure that is used to treat refugees is described, questioning its humaneness. |
