Administration and counseling are critical components in vocational rehabilitation agencies. This article discusses survey research conducted with 41 State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation representing 10 regions to determine if relationships existed between specific variables and if they predicted rehabilitation closure rate. Variance (8.5%) in agency success was explained by leadership style, experience, rehabilitation counseling knowledge, degree, and educational relevancy, and the R-square was 24.3%. These findings as well as the implications for rehabilitation counselors, administrators, and educators are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
