Abstrakt: The article provides the bird's eye view of the author on the predominance of racism in sports in the U.S. as implied in the film "Friday Night Lights," a motion picture based on the chronicle of 1988 Permian High School Pathers football team by investigative reporter H.G. Bissinger. The author said that sport is a microcosm of society and, just as racism persists in society, so too does it persists in sport.
