| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the two French prints that showed two scenes related to Napoleon Bonaparte's wedding with Marie-Louise of Austria. The prints were illustrated in the December 1996 issue. They come from the third volume of "Précis historique de la guerre entre la France et l'Autriche en 1809" which is a book by the Comte Alexandre de Laborde. The prints appeared on pages 151-152. The etching illustrated as figure 12 is inscribed "Demande solemnelle à l'Empereur d'Autriche" and figure 213 "Cérémonie du marriage dans l'église des Augustins à Vienne." |
