The article reports that the United States and Great Britain's operational needs and industrial necessity have contributed to the increase requirements and research and development on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Great Britain has increased its acquisition of medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) UAVs. Meanwhile, the U.S. led the way in the use of armed UAVs in war scenarios. |
