Abstrakt: The article profiles Sir Donald Bradman, who became famous in pre-war Australia as a cricket player. He finished his career as cricket player in the early 1960s with a batting record that was almost twice that of his nearest rival. It is pointed out that the secret to Bradman’s success was that he taught himself to control a fast-moving ball.
