The article focuses on the celebration of the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20, 2007 in San Diego, California. It is stated that the Transgender Advocacy and Services Center, the Imperial Court de San Diego, and other allies in the community will co-sponsor a candlelight march and memorial services for those in the transgender community who died in 2006. The remembrance is set aside to memorialize those who have been killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. |
