Abstrakt: The article discusses the prevention of second-generation mother-to-child HIV transmission. The patient was diagnosed with congenital HIV infection at the age of 12, before the onset of sexual activity. The patient stopped her antiretroviral therapy prior to her first pregnancy. She resumed treatment as part of prenatal care. The patient gave birth to a full-term, HIV-uninfected baby.
