| Abstrakt: |
The article describes palliative care programmes that are integrated into the national or regional health care plans of various countries. The Robert Wood Foundation funded the Promoting Excellence in End of Life Care Project which is designed to address known deficiencies in the way in which the American health care system cared for patients at the end of their lives. |
