Management games are now of considerable interest with increasing intensity among the educators, trainers and business executives. However, since the introduction of management games in the area of business management (in educational institutions or corporate offices), there has been a lot of debates on its effectiveness and usefulness as a learning tool. This paper is an endeavour to explore conceptually some of the main features of management games: what is meant by them, their usefulness, methods of playing the games, classifications of games, learning potential, advantages and limitations.
