| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study that explained the significance of delusional disorders to the field of criminology. The study presented a historical overview of delusional disorders and discussed its five criteria and seven subtypes, as defined by the APA/DSM-IV-TR (2000). It used elements of particular crimes and actual case studies to highlight the relationship between crime and delusional disorders. The study concluded that knowledge on delusional disorders are important, as well as correct diagnosis of the disorder. |
