The article focuses on three scenarios for the future of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in the chiropractic profession. One scenario is when allopathic health care takes over CAM with CAM therapies being recognized as specialties within the allopathic system. In the situation where CAM takes over allopathic health care, CAM becomes the primary health option for the patient. It is stated that when both health professions work together, they openly share therapies and modalities. |
