| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the modernization of the lift equipment at Disentis Monastery in Switzerland. The lifts were installed about 40 years ago and the lift cabins do not have inner doors. The first lift was fitted out by Schindler with the cegard/Lift light curtain from Cedes. The light curtain recognizes if someone is too close to the gap between the cabin and the shaft wall. Safety light barriers provide the required safety levels and ensure that older equipment maintains its value. INSET: Monastery School in Disentis. |
