Abstrakt: The article focuses on the German-language accounts in northern Italy and southern Germany as depicted in a diary written for the Bavarian royal court in 1565-1566. The diary is written by Johann Jacob Fugger who is a steward of Prince Louis Ferdinand of Bavaria. Fugger is the only attendant to take a scribe on the journey of Ferdinand for the record of the Bavarian royal court. It contains some German-language accounts in northern Italy and southern Germany. It also reveals some information regarding the practical application of the traditional rituals and ceremonies that are linked with the entrata. The diary signifies the entry of Joanna of Austria in Florence, as well as the traditions that she brought.
