| Abstrakt: | The article presents an examination of the Royal Ontario Museum's Italian maiolica collection, most of which dates from the sixteenth century. The collection includes polychrome wares, large decorative plates, pottery, vases, and other ceramic pieces that come in intricate details and designs. The historical contexts, relevance, and design descriptions of such pieces are discussed in the article. |
