The article focuses on the architectural aspects of the public cooperative housing in Denmark. The structure called Jystrup, designed by Tegnestuen Vandkunsten, was formed by a cooperative of 21 families who wanted to set up a place where they might live based on their needs and beliefs. Handvaerkerparken's "bofaellesskab" by architectural firm Arkitektgruppen is an integrated part of an existing large suburban housing estate on the remote areas of Arthus, the country's second largest city. |
