Abstrakt: The article takes a look on the Chinese bronze mirror and its gilt bronze stand from the first century A.D. of Han dynasty, at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in New York City. It is said that mirror has a diameter of 27.94 centimeter with total weight of 1506.59 gram. The gilt bronze stand of the mirror is claimed to be made of a combination of three gilt bronze parts and two segments of a recent lacquered wood restoration. After restoration, the bronze segments weigh 1106.45 gram with height of 33.3 centimeter. Meanwhile, the mirror's bronze holder is described as a semi-circular and sits on a short stem, and the interior of the channel is fully covered with green patina. Information on other Chinese early mirror stands and frames is also presented.
