Abstrakt: The article discusses certain stylistic particularities of the engravings of "Shizbuzhai Shuhuapu," (Ten Bamboo) from the Ten Bamboo Studio which is considered the most beautiful of books with color woodcuts published in the 17th century China. The naturalistic style of the painting of flowers and birds continued to be very much in favor through the Qing Dynasty and Yun Shouping and Zou Yigui were among the flower painters working in a refined-realistic manner. The flowers on the eleven pictures by Ling Yunhan do not exhibit stylistic uniformity. Bird painting flourished in the Song period under the brush of great artists Zhao Chang and Huizong.
