The author discusses injunctions to avoid damaging direct action against engineers. According to the author, the return of the eco-protestor highlights the damaging nature of direct action as well as the detrimental effect that unlawful protesting activity can have on the cost of projects. He states that any preventative legal strategy against direct action groups or unlawful protesting organizations is an injunction under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. |
