Abstrakt: | The article focuses on Richard Beaver, a Muscogee (Creek) Nation tribal member who makes turtle shell shakers which are used by indian stomp dancers from several Indian tribes, including the Caddo and Five Civilized Tribes, who dance at green corn ceremonies. A discussion of the dress and music which is seen in stomp dancing is presented. |
