In this article the author discusses balancing work and family for physicians. She discusses the concept of juggling balls in order to explain that one should only focus on the task at hand rather than become conflicted thinking there is need to be in three places at once. She also narrates her life experience of being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment for it and in the process became more mindful of her decisions and commitments towards her own life, family and children. |
