The article focuses on the advantages of the gas engine-driven welders from DDJ Welding. In addition to lower purchase price, gas engine drives are lighter than diesel engine drives. The lower gross vehicle weight allows founder Lyle Proctor to spec the trucks with a quad cab option. The voltage sensing wire feeders can run gas-shielded wires and can run small and larger wires without arc outages. |
