The article discusses how optometrists use wavefront technology to identify candidates for wavefront lenses. According to Doctor Lowe, they use the Z-View Aberrometer algorithm to identify good candidates and they found that the technology is ideal for about 50 percent of their patients. Doctor Quon says there is a learning curve when they begin prescribing iZon lenses. Candidate should be chosen carefully and their excessive expectations should be managed. |
