Abstrakt: The article discusses the significance of the revision of the Espionage Act in the United States. The U.S. Congress designed the Espionage Act toward the safety and protection of the constitutional rights and ownership of American citizens and the enforcement of sanctions on individuals who shall act as threats to the country's peace, welfare, and honor. The author notes the need for revising this government policy toward the effective implementation of its purpose of securing the national defense and security of the country without taking for granted the grounds of the First Amendment rights of American residents.
