| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses how emergency medical service (EMS) personnel can contribute in reducing the incidence of unintended physical injury resulting from medical care. EMS providers need to design and implement infection control practices to prevent the spread of infections such as the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Pressure ulcers from prolonged pressure from immobilization devices may also be replaced by a more comfortable device to prevent such injuries. |
