An interview with Bill Brumback, Bill Cullina, and Gwen Stauffer is presented. When asked why biodiversity and protecting rare species is important, Brumback says that the idea is to leave as much biodiversity for the next generation and protect the land appropriately. For Cullina, it is a moral argument of not wanting to be responsible for extinction. Stauffer relates that the society's greatest capacity is to collaborate in the preservation efforts. |
