Abstrakt: The article presents the clinical case of an 8-year-old boy with a tiny puncture wound to the palmar aspect of his distal left ring finger and a scratch to the distal long finger caused by a snake bite. On arrival to the emergency department, he was given normal saline, morphine, cefazolin, and promethazine. An intradermal test dose of CroFab was also administered. The hand surgeon performed multiple fasciotomies to relieve pressure and prevent necrosis of tissue.
