In this paper, we present an effective integral method for extracting the capacitance of a multilayer transmission lines. The presented method is based on the generalized equivalent circuits by using transverse admittance operator. In conjunction with compactly-supported wavelets trial functions, this approach generates a sparse linear system from the set of integral equations. This technique possesses the properties of rapid convergence and could find applications in the design of high speed IC interconnects and microwave system. Numerical results presented for two layer structure show good agreement with others works. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
