Abstrakt: The article provides information on a four month project launched by Rogers Communications Inc. in 2006 to integrate 93 new stores and create Rogers Retail, one of the 10 largest retail chains in Canada. The idea behind the strategic decision was to integrate the stores, located across five time zones, with the company's existing Rogers Video and Fido chains. The project involved recruiting and training 500 new employees and nine new area managers, and replacing a point-of sale environment across five time zones.
