Abstrakt:	The article reports on the clinicopathological findings of a subretinal fibrous band in a 23-year-old woman that was clinically considered to be a parasite. The retroretinal membrane was found to be made up of collagen, fibrocytes, hyperplastic retinal pigment epithelium, lymphocytes, blood vessels, portions of Bruch membrane, plasma cells, retina and choroid.
