The article discusses the availability of audio version of literatures. It is stated that classroom literature and other texts can be found and access in a variety of portable audio formats including audiocassette tapes, audio compact discs (CDs), iPod and MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 (MP3).It is stated that the technological development has been shown to increase comprehension and reading speed for English learners and struggling readers. These are used by educators to enhance assignments and engage students with more advanced technologies. |
