| Abstrakt: |
The article examines the implications of social work education upon licensed social workers' desire, knowledge and competency to work with members of the transgender community. This research on social work practitioners suggests that those who have received educational preparation for work with transgendered populations experience a higher degree of confidence in their competence to work with this community, an important implication for the content of social work education programs at both Bachelor of Social Work and Masters in Social Work degrees. |
