| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the author's experience of his grandaunt letters during the Civil War in March 1865. He recalled when he was told by his mother regarding the letters, and he mentioned some relatives who had seen the letters. The letter contained subsequent letters from Mary to Lucia which was written from Belvidere, the Baltimore home of her aunt, and the Mary's home Clover Plains, in Albemarle County. |
