The article narrates the author's experience of leaving a damage to a rented antique kitchen house in Charleston, South Carolina. When he decided to leave the house and rent another unit, he packed his things and worked to minimize the evidence of his stay at the kitchen house. Suddenly, he accidentally dropped a can of blue paint that spread on the wooden floor. He and his friends worked together to clean up the mess and leave minimal stains on the floor. |
