The article discusses the reasons why filmmakers love to make movies in South Carolina. South Carolina has a beautiful coastline stretching counterpoint to a forest-clad mountainous corner, plenty of film and cinematic settings such as battlegrounds, mansions and old forts to complement the natural beauty. In addition, the state has a temperate climate, low production costs, accommodating people and a right-to-work atmosphere. A brief description of movies made in South Carolina is provided. |
