Abstrakt: The article presents a study which measures the patient's behavior with the utilization of galvanic skin response (GSR) while considering theraphist permissiveness. The study was based on a 43 hours psychotherapy from a white male neurotic patient. The GRS refers to the method used in measuring the anxiousness of the patient against any cue threatening punishment by the therapist. It was observed that patients show various approaches that leads towards the development of resistance and defense systems through feared punishment. In addition, the study revealed that two different measures of resistance are not related with the permissiveness of the therapist.
