The article discusses a study on the relationship between achievement fantasy and behavioral indices of achievement motivation taken from the area of employment. The behavioral expression of achievement motivation by means of life history data were measured to allow the individual to report on his attempts to achieve goals at a level of difficulty suitable to his achievement motivation. The study used a behavioral index drawn from life rather than laboratory behavior. Subjects were adult males, representing a wide range of age and socioeconomic variables. |
