The article offers information on the efforts of various associations and academicians to promote the internationalization of communication studies. The Speech Communication Association has conducted conferences in China, Russia, Bavaria, Belgrade and Dubrovnik. The International Communications Association has also conducted conventions outside the U.S. The International Republican Institute in Washington, D.C. has sponsored the international lecture of Professor Scott Ratzan to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. |
