The article presents a literature review of routine three-dimensional ultrasound technology in obstetrics, focusing on issues about medical uses, availability and safety. It is pointed out that ultrasonography providers have to be licensed medical personnel. Also, patients who availed of commercial ultrasound services have to be instructed to consult with their healthcare provider. |
